1) Art criticism process- 1. Describe the artwork: What you see in the artwork, describe the different elements and colors. 2. Analyze the artwork: List the different elements and designs in the art you see. 3. Interpret the artwork: What is the mood of the artwork, the feelings you get. What story do you think is being told? 4. Judge the artwork: What you think about the artwork, is it successful?
16) If I could do over any project I'd Redo the multimedia project. I would redo it because it looked plain and open. I would redo the first couple layers of this piece by making my first layer with just one base color of paint, instead of using ink. I would also change the theme of this project because the theme i had to work from was hard to think of what do next. 13) I found using my imagination to create ideas for projects and illustration Fridays the hardest part about this class. We had to think of our own ideas for almost every project we did and every time, thinking of how to start off and what to do next was the hardest part about them. Also using watercolor paint was hard too, we used watercolor a lot in this class but overtime I got better at it. I had redo one of my watercolor pieces once because I wasn't patient enough to let it dry, and the paint was hard to control. 17) The warm pen block warm up was one of the few warm ups that i found beneficial. I like using the pen medium the most and learning different techniques using pen was really helpful for when I use the pen medium in the future. I picked this warm up over the others because for most of the other warm ups i already knew how and what to do but before this class I never have used pen to make art before.

inspired artist-Jannick deslauriers is my inspired artist. She is a Montreal-based textile artist that uses yards of silk, aluminum mesh, and tulle to make often life-size pieces of machinery. Each fabric she uses is transparent. this speaks to the hidden politics lurking behind commonly used objects and goods. Her latest work, Sentence, souffle et linceul, is a full-scale replica of a demolished car. The translucent vehicle is slumped to the right, its broken form further exaggerated through a composition of soft and easily manipulated materials. You can see her other works on her website https://jannickdeslauriers.com/
